hello from beautiful Chapel Hill
I'm not sure I have anything terribly interesting to share, but I'm trying to be less anti-social. As such, a run down of the normal details:

I'm 29, a corporate attorney and everything but married (still waiting on the law for that one) to my gorgeous partner of 5+ years now.

I used to read all the time... then my girl bought me a Nook and I read non-stop. I am also somewhat of a polyglot. I'm working on my 4th language now (Japanese) and when I'm not reading I'm watching Japanese TV or listening to Japanese radio or podcasts.

Glad you like the name, i'm rather fond of it myself. As for Chapel Hill, its a small university town on the east coast of the United States. A "Heel" in my post refers to the mascot of that university - a "tarheel" - named such for thier bravery in battle. During the american civil war, these men were said to be so brave that they stuck to thier positions as if they were glued there by having tar on their heels. Hence the name. The university adopted it in the late 1800s though the university itself was founded in 1797.

This is not so much a problem for me... also, i wouldnt dream of mentioning your football team right now, when mine is stuck in the NCAA's bad graces. I am a soccer fan, first and foremost, and women's soccer specifically. As my ladies have won 21 of the 26 total national championships in the sport, I'm all good. I go to ninth street regularly for comic books, so i dont have any *real* hate for the dookies. Just some friendly hate.
