What's in your Pack, Purse or Pocket?
Just curious and interested in when you leave your Crib or Home in the day or night, what device or computer are you carrying or packing out the door for reading books, internet etc.. and why

Most of the time just my phone. iPad for schooldays, and then my laptop for when I'm going to be stuck somewhere for a few hours.
There was ONE time where I actually lugged a computer for the weekend somewhere. And it wasn't even my idea. It was when we had those big CRT monitors too. |

Usually these days it's my 1st Gen. Paperwhite that I carry round with me though I do still have my Kindle Keyboard.

My JetBook Lite, my aging Creative Zen (my favorite MP3 player), and my (non-smart) cell phone.
If I'll be out for an extended time, like a week, I'll haul along my netbook and a battery charger for the JetBook Lite. |

These days I'm only bringing the Pyrus Mini (it's just too convenient) but when I know I will have lots of time to read like waiting at a doctor's office I often bring the basic Kindle. For trips that consist of staying overnight for a day or two I usually bring along my old Kindle Keyboard because of the 3G.

General "carrying around out of the house": iPhone for internet access, web browsing, etc; Kindle PW2 for reading.
Going away overnight or longer: iPhone, Kindle, plus Microsoft Surface Pro tablet. |

Nothing, unless I am going to the Doctors office without my Little Man or Starbucks to get an hour of peace and quiet away from the Little Man. Then I take the Kindle PW2
