Speed

How likely is it that iRex can speed up the booting of the device. After watching a video of the iLiad booting, it is noticeably slower that the Librie.

Is the page refresh possible to speed up or is this a limitation of the eink technology

The page refresh can be speeded up to a certain limit, eink is the limiting factor there. The Iliad now pages pretty fast, fast enough for me at least (<1 second)

Fast booting should be quite possible, but whether and when iRex will manage this, nobody can say for sure...

Are there any videos out there that show the fast page turns, most of what I've seen seems to be +2-3 seconds.

How is it on images refreshes, eg for comics/manga?

Hi, there are some videos in the sticky video thread. Maybe I will find the time in the next week to make an updated v2.8 video. We'll see...
