Classic B&N thinks 'soon' is 34 days?

I pre-ordered the Nook the first day (prob close to the first hour that you could) and I just got this email an hour ago.

Thank you for choosing nook, yours will ship Soon*

LOL

Think some orders will start shipping earlier then expected, or does their marketing really consider 34 days 'soon' ?

I would say taht the marketing department probably thinks 30+ days is soon... while 6 months out would be in a while...

Actually I think that since the offical press release and the ship date is pretty darn fast, many companies do offical press releases and then ship the product 6+ months later.

As for shipping ahead of schedule, I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

I received the email but when I tried to log into the B & N Website it said that my order number was invalid. Are any of you actually able to confirm from the email that Nov 30 is still the expected ship date?

Yes, I went and checked my order status using the link in the email and it's still saying the ship date is Nov. 30.
