screen prints?
for a writing project for a class, I need screen prints of how a set piece of text will look on both a large and a smaller ereader screen. I know how to take screen prints with my Kindle (alt-G) - is there a similar way to take a screen print from my Sony 350? (it's currently on loan to a friend, so I can't look at the user's guide to see whether this is mentioned in it)

There is no way with the original fw.
With PRS+ you can bind Screenshot to a certain key. Screen-cap will be saved in JPG format. Therefore the charaters will "bleed" a bit, not giving a correct impression of screen-quality if printed or projected with a beamer. HTH Mark |

thanks for all the links - it sounds like PRS+ is a great addon to my 360. is there a user's guide somewhere that will tell me how to set up screen prints?

Unfortunately not,
but after installing PRS+2.0.12 beta with the "all in one Setup.exe" from the project page (you will NOT lose any of your books, notes a.s.o) Goto Settings PRS+ Settings Key Bindings Volume-Buttons choose e.g. Volume+ (like me) Global (will work in menus and while book-reading) Utilities Take a Screenshot Press the Home-Button Again select Settings PRS+ Settings Screenshot Choose where to save the image (for your 350 only IM-Internal-Memory is possible) Choose if a progress-indicator should be shown Press Volume+ and a screenshot will be saved in IM Connect the reader to your PC/Mac copy the jpg-file You are done HTH Mark Last edited by Mark Nord; 09-09-2011 at 03:03 PM. |
