Until a few weeks ago I was reading about 3 hours a day; lately I don't have that much spare time so I'm only reading about 1-1.5 hours, except on weekends when I can indulge a bit more.

I chose three, for the "average", I spend more than that on some days, less on other days.

Considering the huge amount of free time I got at work, easily 3 to 4 hours, sometimes more if I'm in shape and feeling like not putting my Kobo down.

Incredibly irregular. Lots of days I read none. I have chronic migraine headaches and many days I just can't read. Or I'm too busy taking care of kids or something. But then there are days where both kids are busy and I read much of the day. I have no idea even what the average would be.

I usually only read when I go to bed at night, so probably only about an hour on average.

I probably read *a book* for about an hour or so every day. If I include blogs/forums and other online reading, I could easily add another two or three hours.

About an hour, usually right before I go to sleep. I used to read far more but my attention span isn't what it used to be.

Depends on what you count, if you only count pbooks and ebooks probably currently no more than a couple of hours, but if you count web reading much, much more! and the pbook/ebook reading varies as well...all depending....so I guess my answer is, "Your guess is as good as mine"

I read for at least an hour a day (at bedtime), but how much more reading than that I get done really depends on the day and how busy I am. I'm going to click on the 3-hour option in the poll.

I marked 4 hours. It depends on the day. Since I'm only partially retired (working about 18 hours a week), some days are more than another. Yesterday I probably managed about 6 hours. Today, I'll be lucky to get in 3.

I said 2, but depending on the night, it's probably closer to 3. I read a lot before bed (while everyone else watches tv) and, if it's a good book, I'll go far too late at night than is consistent with getting up early to go to work.

I answered 2 hours although it is usually closer to 3. I only read in bed before sleep. I would love to be able to read during the day but it makes me sleepy. Having read in bed since childhood, I have somehow programmed my brain that reading means it's time to sleep.
