New TouchPad Import App - Covers

I am working on a TouchPad application that works in conjunction with Calibre to sideload books into the Kindle application (https://github.com/sandnap/Kindle-Import) and I have a request for the WebOS device plugin.

Is it possible to send the cover image to the device with a different name and in a subdirectory?

Sure, you just need to implement the upload_cover() method in the touchpad driver in calibre in android/driver.py

For an example see the upload_cover() method in the Nook or SONY drivers.

If there are any TouchPad users who would like to send books to your device you can use Calibre and the Kindle Import WebOS application which is available through Preware or WebOS Quick Install. You can view information here or discuss the application here. Cover support was added in Calibre 0.8.20.
