I don't recommend elephants. They are hell to housebreak, you can't keep them out of the fridge, and they are just NOT something you want to cuddle with on a cold evening!
On the other hand, muggers do NOT attack people who are out walking their elephants. You can make very nice gift wrapping paper out of their dung. (Actually, you can make a LOT of very nice gift wrapping paper...) It sells at high price in Malaysia and Thailand. They are very handy for moving trees. Maybe you should consider trying out an elephant... Stitchawl |

Hey, did someone add the hairy spider? I didn't see it before! I want to change my vote! Spiders are very useful, and you don't need to feed them or to find them a foster home when you go on holidays. On the other hand, they are not very affectionate, but neither are snakes - or are they? And what about hippos?

Nice pics. How old? We have one that is going on 3 now, he is just shy of 4 feet long.
To be honest though I did say dog as my perfect pet. I've always been a dog person, but cat would have been the runner up. The iguana is neat, and you can't beat the coolness factor, but you can't play fetch with them, and while you can sort of snuggle with them that is mostly them sitting on you because you're warm |
