Calibre Updates
Ab heute möchte ich hier die regelmäßigen Updates von Calibre in deutscher Übersetzung einstellen. Hier die erste Runde

Calibre Version 0.8.45 veröffentlicht

Highlights der neuen Version neben den üblichen Fehlerbehebungen:
  • E-Book Viewer: Mit den Pfeiltasten "hoch/runter" kann man jetzt auch über Abschnitte hinaus scrollen.
  • Treiber für Samsung Galaxy Plus GT-I9001
  • KF8 Eingabe: Unterstützung für Amazon Leseproben im KF8 Format

Ja Billi, ich bin einer der Autoren der Calibre-Handbücher. Wir liefern auch Infos an das Entwickler-Team. Da wir die Handbücher aktuell halten wollen, müssen wir ja wissen, was jede Woche so passiert... ;-)

Keine spektakulären Neuheiten, aber ein Treiber für das PocketBook 622 und wieder eine Vielzahl von Bug-Fixes.

Es reicht vollkommen wenn Calibre, wie auch bisher, in Ruhe und kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt wird.

Ich wollte nur mal ein wenig erden . Ausergewöhnlich, na ja, ich würde sagen gute und sinnvolle Weiterentwicklung und keine Schleifchen-Software, Calibre eben.
Wenn im heutigen Zeitgeist nicht alles bombastisch ist, liest/registriert es anscheinend keiner mehr. Wobei man sich bei vielen Zeitgenossen schon fragen muss, ob sie es denn noch können bzw. das Gelesene auch bis zum (Ge)Hirn vordringt.

Calibre ist TOLL! Herzlichen Dank für die ganze Arbeit die ihr da reinsteckt!! Manchmal ist die hohe Update-Zahl für den Gelegenheits-Nutzer aber fast schon beängstigend.. wenn ich alle 1-2 Monate mein Calibre starte, bin ich jedes mal von neuem erschüttert wie viele Program-Versionen ich schon wieder hinterher bin... :/

Neue Funktionen
  • Konvertierung: Die Suchen & Ersetzen Funktion wurde komplett überarbeitet (Einstellungen > Konvertierung > Allgemeine Einstellungen > Suchen & Ersetzen).
  • AZW3: die seit kurzem von Amazon eingesetzten .azw3-Dateien werden jetzt erkannt und können gelesen und konvertiert werden (Dateien ohne DRM).
  • Neue Treiber für Samsung Galaxy ACE GT-S5830L und HTC One X

Wichtige neue Funktionen:
  • Bücher optimieren: die Funktion "Tweak Book" erlaubt jetzt die Bearbeitung von KF8 MOBI-Dateien in den Einzelbestandteilen HTML, CSS etc. Zur erreichen ist die Funktion per Rechtsklick auf ein Buch unter "Buch optimieren". Wenn eine MOBI-Datei sowohl KF8, als auch das ältere MOBI6-Format enthält, wird die MOBI6-Version gelöscht.
  • AZW3-Ausgabe Plugin: das Plugin generiert reine KF8 MOBI-Dateien. Diese werden bisher nur auf dem Kindle Fire und Kindle Touch mit der aktuellsten Firmwareversion unterstützt.
Dazu weitere Funktionen und viele Bug Fixes für die Verarbeitung von KF8-Dateien.
