How do I format word count in custom column

I have created a word count custom column. I want to format the number to show up with comma separators or K, M, G format in the table. I tried going through the manual but it went over my head, so steps or screenshots appreciated.

Just in case you weren't aware, it seems relevant to mention that there is a fantastic plugin called Count Pages (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=134000) that also calculates word count. I use it for all of my books
