Every device needs separate port. So it is *possible* to run OpenInkpot (there is enough memory and CPU is reasonably fast), but it will need a kernel adjusted for the particular device).

ok, but we have native kernel, may be it is easer to run user's part of the OI on this native kernel?
I tried with no success - xfbdev seems to start, but with no screen output, and other apps can't find X server...
For example in the veb-620 only one application - DmcEbook, without any x-server etc
Can you make 'OI lite' - one application or application set with no additional requirements to kernel features?

And such distro won't be called "OI lite". It will be called "OI very heavy edition, with tons of bizzare stuff, abstraction layers, workarounds, unneccessary compilcations just to be able to work with most idiotic pieces of shit mistakenly named kernels, which are produced by brain-damaged proprietary embedded chinese engineers who know little or no kernel programming".
