Help! My How do you chnage a ZIP to an Epub?
I have several Epub files that I need to tweak the code in. I have an elderly (but original and paid for) version of PK-ZIP. I can load the replace XML into the zip file, but I can only save it as ZIP. How can i change the file type to epub?

If the ZIP file contains all the correct stuff needed for an EPUB file, simply change the file ending from ".zip" to ".epub". Similarly, to unpack and EPUB file, just change the file ending from ".epub" to ".zip", and you can unzip it.

If you’re on Windows you may need to change your settings so that it does not hide file extensions. It’s hard to rename what you can’t see. Details here.

Among other solutions, there is a free little utility to open EPUB file packages for tweaking.

I usually just use Sigil though.
