Alternatives for lighting?
I was wondering if there were any alternatives for a portable light source for the PRS-505 other than the Sony PRSLIGHT? Like attachable LED's or something along those lines.
Thanks |

I've actually found something that looks quite interesting but i need to know how much space is left inside the case for this light im looking at.
If anyone with a PRS-505 with the premium leather cover could tell me whether there is space to fit a light measuring 120mm x 36mm x 18mm (L*W*H) Much appreciated! |

mmm a very interesting and cheap option but i kind of had my heart set on an adjustable neck just so it will illuminate the entire page
Btw do you know whether you can change batter for this SO-LED light? |

Have a look at the following thread and read the entire thread. There are some really good photos. The one I like best from the photos is the bug light.

I like the Z-light (3 LEDs) for portability and lighting performance. Costs about $15 at B&N. Very thin, disappears in a pocket. Uses two of those large disc/button batteries. I bought a bunch on eBay cheap, haven't used up the first set yet.
One general tip: for more uniform lighting, clip the portable booklight on the *side* of the Reader (I clip to the folded-back cover) instead of the top. |

I found a portable, discrete solution but there is no reseller here in NZ.
This is lightwedge but i can't imagine how it works with the reader, I have to hold it with the device or clippable... looks great and maybe the best with paperbooks... Last edited by Pappito; 06-05-2008 at 02:42 AM. Reason: incorrect spelling |

This is mine. A little more blueish than I would like, but otherwise, perfect.
