jetBook reads metadata with FB2 for title & author

I just noticed this today when I was loading some classics in FB2 format on my jetBook (not lite). All the FB2 files allow me to sort by author or title! The files are not in a particular format, it is clearly reading metadata. So FB2 might be the format of choice to for ebooks on the jetBook. Reading the books in FB2 format looks good too, although images don't seem to be scaled. This is with 0.33h version of the firmware, can someone confirm that 0.33g also allows sorting of FB2 books? My grandfathers is on 0.33g I think and I want to send him an SD card with FB2 books if they will sort well for him.
