Last week was travelling a bit so tried several different wifi points, not sure of SSIDs.
Will try renaming mine. Thank you, nhedgehog. Back home I am rural enough to be the only one that shows up. |

So that make the "too many people on the same channel" not that likely.
Yeah, try renaming using only "standard" characters. I could also rename mine temporarily, see what happens. |

Changed the SSID to one without special characters (there had been underscores) and got a connection after about 5 failed tries, so that could be called an improvement.
My wifi router is using channel 1. Still not sure if the reader is set up with any channel or if it just tries to connect with whatever the router is using. Anyway there is no competition showing up; mine is the only SSID around. And still no response to Check for Updates. |

Frankly I am disinclined to waste any more time with Bookeen.
Their business model is not serious. OP, where did you get the information that prompted your post? |

Weird.
Your cybook is probably considered as being one belonging to someone at bookeen, and eligible for fast updates. 2367 isn't even in beta. |

I forgot to say: during my conversation with support I asked to involve me to beta-testing. That's why I get update almost every time I switch WiFi on. :-)
