I archived my dream, my new dream now is to go to Trinity (the one in Dublin) for Ph.D. then to take over the family law firm. Wish me luck!

Here in the US law school is three years. The old saying goes that the first year they scare you to death, the second year they work you to death, and the third year they bore you to death.

Never heard that one--even though I had 2 sisters who were attorneys.

Somehow reminds me of the saying that nurserymen have about newly-planted plants: "First year sleeps, second year creeps, third year leaps".

I'm curious about one thing: presumably you'll be studying Turkish law at university. Why do you want to go to Trinity? To study EU law?

First of all; thank you all!

And yes.

The university I will be going to is the best one in Turkey and the forty percent of the curriculum is already about EU and American law. And, apart from one other school with french roots, it is just about the only one that sends law students to earn their Ph.Ds and Masters to Europe. Trinity's curriculum is completely about EU law and commercial law. Most importantly: if I am to have any ideas about taking over my father's law business, I have to have a Ph.D. on those topics. We're mainly dealing with big firms and their trade and they wouldn't accept just a graduate

But I can do that any other european school too. But ever since I have read Joyce's works, I kinda wanted to go to the Trinity, and the fact that it is among the best five universities about EU law doesn't hurt too
