Do you think a price drop is in the way?
I wonder if a (small) price drop is coming any time soon for the Aura H2O. Do you remember how the previous kobo readers behaved relative to price in the preceding years?

well it's only just now in the last few days that the H2O has actually been released in Aus, and Kobo sells it for AUD229.95 (as advertised on the the kobobooks.com site).
And the retailers are charging $229 from memory. Anyway it's way over the top and ridiculous pricing. As for the north America sites the H2O has been available since perhaps August (?) last year for around $179, so I wouldn't bet on a price reduction for a few months yet. |

$299 retail in New Zealand shops. At this price I'll stick with my Sony 650 running PRSPLUS despite the shorter battery life
