Plugins Help
Is there anyone that would be willing to make a plugin to scrape a particular website for metadata info for a small fee?

Has anyone ever made a plugin for RPGGeek.com or RPGNow.com or RPG.net plugins?
Or all three! I am sure there is a bunch of Roleplayers that would love this kind of thing... |

I am really sorry I haven't gotten back to you quicker. I have been really busy at work.
I was kind of thinking the following. RPG.net Title Book Type Genre Setting Series Edition Info System Game Summary Cover RPGGeek RPG Series Category Lead Publisher Year Published Primary Name Cover I really like the RPG.net more, but I believe RPGGeek actually has an API. I am not sure though. Thanks for looking. Please send me back some info. I will keep an eye on this thread. Thanks! |

If you search on each website for "The Rise of Tiamat" it will show you the layout of the information on its page. I don't know if that will help or not...

I found https://github.com/ErikLevin/calibre_rpggeek_plugin
But it gives very unclear directions on how to compile, for those of us who don't do such things... so I'm lost after getting terminal to instal it... I now have errors when I do test, not sure how to proceed -- but since you were trying to do this, maybe we can find a solution... ------- calibre_rpggeek_plugin % calibre-customize -b . calibre-debug -e test.py zsh: command not found: calibre-customize zsh: command not found: calibre-debug |

By the way, I would not recommend that "plug-in" unless you can actually get it to work. The creator was very unhelpful and a bit rude when I asked for assistance.
