Free (Kindle/Nook/ChristianBook/Sony) Faith [Christian Historical Western Romance]

Faith, 1st in the "Brides of the West" historical romance series by Lori Copeland is free courtesy of Tyndale House's Heart Quest imprint.

Currently free @ Amazon UK, will likely show up in the main store and very possibly elsewhere, since Tyndale has been fairly generous about spreading their freebies around (except to Kobo, who've apparently been dropped from the gift list).

Description
A whimsical historical romance series that follows three sisters as they become mail-order brides.

With the matrimonial prospects in her little Michigan town virtually nonexistent, 19-year-old Faith--along with her sisters, Hope and June--answers an ad for mail-order brides. Before she knows it, she's on her way to Deliverance, Texas, determined to make a success of her marriage to wealthy rancher Nicholas Shepherd.

But from the moment she arrives in Deliverance, sparks begin to fly between Faith, a strong-willed tomboy, and her prospective husband--a man with a pretty strong will of his own! And then there's Liza, Nicholas's mother, who is anything but thrilled that her son has chosen a mail-order bride. After a string of wedding postponements and a slew of interfering people, a union between Faith and Nicholas begins to look less and less likely.

In the meantime, Faith and Nicholas are beginning to care for one another--but is their matching stubbornness destined to forever be a barrier between them?

It seemed to me for awhile that the Christan publishers were starting to switch over to Mobi format but lately all these books have been in topaz instead.

I think the Topaz is just because they're freebie-ing the older books which they didn't do a Mobi version of the first time around.

At least they're usually also promoted via B&N and Christian Book, so one can get a more readable ePub version to convert.

Also, it's cool that this one won an award. But when you've got a trio of sisters and you name the first two Faith and Hope, isn't the third traditionally supposed to be Charity to complete the set?

June* kind of looks like she's breaking the chain and will bring down a horrible curse on the family. But maybe it'll turn out she's an adopted orphaned foundling or something and it'll turn out okay.

Now also free @ Christian Book (officially available worldwide in ADE-ePub and online reading for those international readers* who don't want to mess around with the dance of geo-restriction circumvention which is an interpretive dance, performed using proxies). It's not listed on their "free books" page yet, but was lurking at $0.00 in the search.

* Yes, even the Nigerian ones.

I have the series so it's nice to have some in ebook. There's actually more books in the series.

There is no Charity book though.

My problem is I don't know it topaz till it's too late so I forget to grab the epub if available.

That's part of why* I just auto-grab the promo freebies from every store for which I've got a usable account.

Anyway, this is now also free @ Sony (available to Canadians).

Suggested title update (I checked to make sure this would fit):

Free (Kindle/Nook/ChristianBook/Sony) Faith [Christian Historical Western Romance]

* That and it satisfies my hunter-gatherer hoarding instincts without costing me actual money. Time, now, on the other hand…
