-iBookstore- "His Niji" Realistic Character based Story-Telling

Hey everyone, I'm Jeana Laurie! "His Niji" is available on the iBookstore, Kindle, and soon Nook.

Anyway to clear this up "Niji" means "Rainbow" in Japanese.

{Story Summary}

The reader sees life through the eyes of Ahya Hatsu, a twenty year old writer. But the story begins with Ahya listening to a discourse, about a man named Hitome Ashton. Hitome was born disabled, never having the ability to walk. He was known as a painter both by trade, and heart. This was because he chose, to see the world as the artistic work that it is. He inspired many, and his works became highly regarded. But it was one day that he chanced upon the scene of a nightmare, a small girl was being abducted at gunpoint. He rushed to her aid, slowing the man until help could arrive. The small girl was unharmed, but for that to be so, Hitome gave his life. Years later, in honor of him, Hitome’s elder brother proudly opened: ‘Hitome’s United Academy of Art.’ Ahya is invited to attend, which she does. But with the painful burden, of being the small girl Hitome saved all those years ago. Ahya doesn’t plan to find happiness in her life, or even false contentment.

But as she learns about her fellow class-mates, whom have their own scars, and joys, she for the first time grows to know the beautifully hopeful outlook Hitome held. A young man by the name of Cliff, is among those in her class. He is a skilled violinist, but has little passion for music, as he is locked in his own personal grief. However, after reading the first novel to be written by Ahya, he is touched deeply, seeming to derive a new reason to pursue music. After he and Ahya meet, a subtle friendship forms, as they both are captivated by, and deeply respect the other’s works of art. Time and trial gracefully weave their hearts closer, as they realize a love for one another.
A love that seems unhindered by the past. Unknown to them though, is the undeniable fact, that Ahya is the small girl Hitome gave his life for, and that Cliff, is his son.

Thanks!

Instead of finding more closed and restricted formats to offer your book for, you might want to spend that time seeing to the punctuation and other grammatical issues. Then maybe making the book available to everyone would help as well.

Greetings opinionated peoples of the web! Mr. wordwalker (see there, I said mr. I'm being polite!) I have read His Niji Twice, 2 times, double the awesome. And rather than moan about the occasional misplaced quotation mark, I enjoyed the story, VERY MUCH! His Niji is both hilarious and touching, and if you haven't read the awesomeness of chapter 11, then you're going to die with regrets in your life surely. So continue to complain and deprive yourself, meanwhile I'll enjoy the genius of Niji, (That's Rainbow in Japanese.)

Well ... let's see ...

One post.

Referred to an objection to bad grammar as "moaning".

Registered just now.

Showed up solely to talk up a specific book.

AND ... reminded people what "Niji" means ... just like the author.

What a weird coincidence.

P.S. I didn't see any misplaced quotation marks; did I miss some in that blurb? I can't tell about the book, since it's not available in a format I can use.

Because of Apple, we have the Agency 5. So the plan is to let Apple tank when it comes to eBooks. Also, it's not yet possible to strip the DRM from Apple's eBooks.

I'd like to make one thing very clear, I don't want any trouble. And in all honesty I have not been using a "sock-puppet". Mrbr00k5 is my brother, and what he said he honestly felt. You probably won't believe me but it is the truth. I am the first to say my novel has some errors in it. Anyway WordWalker, I do feel that some of your comment might have been a little bit uncalled for, like the one about the warning sign. Again I don't want any trouble and I did not use a sock-puppet.

If your novel has some errors, then don't defend them, fix them. Moreover, your blurb for your book is the first sample we see of your writing, and it should be perfect.

Having your brother say he liked it without admitting he's your brother doesn't help your case. Now you look like a guy with no proofreader whose brother shows up to defend him. That's worse than just looking like a guy with no proofreader.

Also, I'm sure you can figure out how to get my name right, seeing as it's on my posts and all.
