iLiad from 2.7 to 2.7.1 [shell] hack got lost

My ids patch from 2.7 to 2.7.1 just some minutes ago removed the installed [shell]-hack (added entry in er_registry.txt). I think this topic was mentioned somewhere on mr that this could happen after installing 2.8.
I don't know what iRex plans when firmware 2.8 is out.
I would prefer a solution without requestion the shell execution a 2nd time.

you will probably have to ask for the shell update each tim an update appears. I do not think, that iRex will automate this process.

I am not even shure if they will let us do the shell update, once there is some form of using third party viewers in another way.

For now I've given everybody that requested the SHELL hack on 2.7(.1) the inbox item to execute SHELL scripts on 2.8. So it should download together with the other post-install downloads...
