Dette er Eivind Astrups beskrivelse fra hans deltagelse på to av Peary's ekspedisjoner til Nord-Grønland, og har omfattende skildringer av polar-eskimoenes liv og levnet. Den er velskrevet, og særlig interessant å sammenligne med Fridtjof Nansens "Eskimoliv"

Versjon 2: Rettet skrivefeil, forbedret bilder, endret fullsides bilder til svg, og gjort grafikk skalerbar, slik at boken nå kan leses på f.eks telefoner.
