New freebie at Suvudu
There's a new freebie posted in the Suvudu free library. It's The Sheepfarmer's Daughter by Elizabeth Moon.
Its the first book in the Deed of Paksenarrion series and it available in epub, mobi and rtf as a direct download.

You can also get it from Baen's Free Library . They have it in more formats, too And if you like it you can pick up the omnibus version of the trilogy, multi-format and DRM-free, for $6 from them.

Well, they are honest about this, as it's written on the Suvudu page that it's offered "in conjunction" with Baen's free library.

It seems that Suvudu is promoting it because the next book in the series will be published by Del Rey.

Yep, due out in a month or so, I believe. Same reason Baen is promoting their omnibus of the prequel, since apparently the new book links back to that.
