right, in quicker free you have a sort of multiple page desktop of widgets (really annoying, I liked quicker settings free much better)
- load quicker free - menu button->add widget->system settings->screen lock then on the page of widgets you should see a widget with the icon of pattern lock (square of 9 dots with a line connecting them) and when I click on that widget, it shows the full settings: Code:
Settings Screen unlock security None Disable screen unlock security Pattern Draw pattern to unlock screen PIN Enter a numeric PIN to unlock screen Password Enter a password to unlock screen - home button->menu button->settings->security (aka location and security) I don't get any of that) |

The blog cites the need for HDPI 6. On the CyanogenMod site that doesn't narrow it down much. There are NINE models with a check in the HDPI column, and I think every one has a CyanogenMod 6 version. Will ANY of them work?
I don't want to try all nine, or have the first (wrong) one I try roast my PE. I'd really love getting Market running on my PE. My emulator stopped working and I don't have an Android phone, so acquiring apps is a huge pain. I was thinking of buying a cheap Android from 1SaleADay (Flash) just to get at Market, but the ones they have don't have Market either. Thanks! |

huh?
in the table immediately below that, there is exactly 1 link to v6 HDPI (ok, 2 links lol, there's a mirror...) or the easy alternative is to use v1.01 (or 1.001 or 1.002) when doing the ermine upgrade as it contains exactly those gapps already (this is how I did, and was successful) |

AHA! I was looking at all the devices checked as HDPI and looking at those that offered a v.6.
This is what I got: http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-hd...114-signed.zip Now I need to back everything off the PE and make sure I've got copies of everything before wiping it. |

Hi guys, I have the same problems that someone had on page 8.
Of course, I read that vldmr gave a solution, but I don't know where to type the commands. What do I lack? |

Allmine works quite nicely for me!
I am thinking of folding the changes into the "Golden Ermine" update so we can finally have an "Allmine ROM". Including and extracting your zipfiles should be straightforward, as copying and pasting the code to create the new serial number. My only question is what is the role of the build.prop file. What should I worry about it? Thanks! |

the build.prop is the device id as seen on the market. with the existing build.prop we should only see apps that work for nexus only. I have 2 pes, one that I upgrade to allmine 10 days ago, all working fine everything for nexus in the market and one last few days and have very limited market. did anybody else noticed this? (same files used)..

the principle is the same, but the developer does not have a device to test.

Allmine is mine !!!
K,
I installed Allmine & Gapps over Ermine, starting at step 11 and the installation went as expected... As I went through the setup, I followed the instructions and it seems to be working well. I did notice a few quirks in the setup though and would appreciate your comments: 1. Edge Preferences, Turn Debug On of Off, now requires a debug password that I have no idea what it could be.... 2. Accounts & sync settings, google account shows a sync error, on the syncing of contacts, but is indicated as temporary. I will watch it to see if it returns to normal. 3. Location & security settings, under Set Password, the change password function requires a pre-existing password that I have no knowledge of. 4. I still can't sign into Skype. All in all, this is a great upgrade. Thank you for your labors, Quote:

Just like vicinc said, the idea should be the same, but I don't have an EE to try it out. I haven't even looked at the Ermine update.zip file for the EE yet. If there are volunteers to test it out, I might try to do one (although this coming weeks I am going to be quite busy, so I don't know if I'll have much time).

i think if you manage a full golden 2.2 rom with market this is the best for time being. also if you document the procedure some other clever minds with an EE may attempt.
the serial/tftp will help unborking so people can experiment. |
