I would love to buy a NIV bible from sony estore but I can't due to my geographical location (singapore). I used to own Laridian NIV for pocketpc and I asked them if they are intending to produce NIV version for Sony ereader. Negative. Ask Zondervan directly, the answer is I can only get it from Sony estore.
Anyone knows where else I can purchase a NIV bible for sony prs600?

Directly from zondervan or one of their e-retailers. Zondervan

Hope that helps.

I was able to authorize the 600 to the Sony elibrary and transfer books but still have been unable to do the same for ADE. The My Account page does not open and neither does the Store page.
Not sure if you received an answer yet so here goes:
You have to authorize your reader via the sony site or software - cant remember which one it was.

The KJV epub linked in the first post appears to be missing Proverbs 9! Is there a reason for this?

Resurrecting old threads...sorry, but this is the only posting i can find on a decent touch bible for the prs-600... i love dclavey's work, it's awesome, but it's incomplete and has some errors... is there an updated version, or can someone get me started on editing the epub (I use linux)? I don't need full tutorials, just a 'do this, then this' kind of response... I've just spent an entire day trying to get a complete working touch bible with no success, so it looks like I'll need to edit dclavey's or make my own, just need to know how to get started... any help appreciated, thanks

RE: KJV0.1.epub (2.50 MB, 501 views) for Sony Touch

dclavey;612000]Touch Bible designed for PRS-600

Version 0.1 - Fast external TOC KJV0.1.epub

Seems also that this version has Proverbs stuck in place of Psalms 101 to
about Psalms 131 or so. Does anyone know if it has a corrected update, or
a way to fix it? It truly is a great work for the sony.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have corrected my database (Silly problem I had not allowed for more than 99 chapters in a book! hence psalm 100 crashed into proverbs!) and regenerate a new version of King James Bible.

I have many versions converted, but can only publish the ones in public domain. Let me know if you want a conversion of a different public domain version.

Three new features being worked on for Q1 next year -

- New index with only ten entries on each page.
- Old testament group verses into paragraphs.
- Study version with blank pages for note taking.

David

Thanks for the reply. Since I am new to this, is there a thread to your corrected version?
KJV0.1.epub??? or is that in the works. I really think it is an excellent work. My wife wants it also. Thanks again.

Look at the very first post for this topic. i.e. Hit the "1" button at the bottom right and look at the top post.

That seems to be the standard, keep modifying the first post with releases of epub.

Things are moving fast - new version 1.1 now available with super fast touch TOC.

1.0 still available for those who like a slower more traditional TOC (Try finding Genesis 50! scroll, scroll scroll!)

Want to say a heart felt thanks for all your hard work.
Have been using it for about a month now and love it.
Only have one suggestion ... when you tap the verse and it takes you back to the beginning of the chapter could we have another link to "Table of Contents" to speed up verse selection. Not sure how difficult this would be but it would save a lot of scrowling in the "contents"
Thanks again!
