help with errors

HELLO. I'm a new wroter and when I uploaded my book to Smashword, I got the following errors. I have no idea how to correct them.

ERROR: Purgatory E-Book.doc: corrupted ZIP header
ERROR: Purgatory E-Book.doc: I/O error: error in opening zip file

Are you uploading it as ZIP files or as a word document?

Also, do you mean you're a 'writer' or a 'wroter'? Or are you from California and have a natural talent for creating new words?
