Where the walker runs down to the Carson Valley Plain
There lived a maiden, Darcy Farrow was her name The daughter of old Dundee and a fair one was she The sweetest flower that bloomed oer the range Her voice was as sweet as the sugar candy Her touch was as soft as a bed of goose down Her eyes shone bright like the pretty lights That shone in the night out of Yerrington town She was courted by Young Vandamere A fine lad was he as I am to hear He gave her silver rings and lacy things And she promised to wed before the snows came that year ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0drT4ocmAg ) Good morning, everyone! It's the Ides of October already, so can Halloween be far behind? Time to start thinking about eating marshmallow peeps and candy corn. Perhaps this will be the year to finally answer that age-old question; do the yellow peeps taste better than the pink ones? I know for sure that Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea tastes better than Lipton's, but I guess that's too easy... Maybe a taste test between Taylor's "English Breakfast" tea and their "Yorkshire" tea would be more of a challenge. Hmmmmm..... Stitchawl |

Managed to both swim and hit the bike this morning, so feeling virtuous. Took care of that with a "Full English".
Now finishing off a big glass of fresh squeezed OJ and starting in on a mug of Peet's English Breakfast tea. |

Ah, and just to brighten the somewhat dull day, a wonderful set of quotes from PG Wodehouse. Complete with pictures from Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie who truly were the ultimate Jeeves and Wooster.

Bancha. Yes, I am on my forth steeping and it is still yummy. It has been paired with blueberry yogurt, dark chocolate seal salt cookies, and an apple. All were complimented nicely by the tea.

Drinking coffee and looking for a laptop. Does anyone here know much about them? I'm looking at this one currently: Toshiba Satellite P875.
It will come to about $750 (Tax and shipping included) for a refurbished one. |
