That would be great for people who are tired of AT&T, but...how would that work exactly? Apple would have to sell two versions of each of its 3G enabled models, so NINE versions at the Apple Store?

Or maybe Verizon sells their version exclusively, with a separate data plan?

Hopefully that means the iPhone will come to Verizon as rumored. I've been tempted to get one, but don't want to leave verizon since the coverage is better and I get a 20% discount with Verizon through my employer.

I hope that is true..would love to get some of these people off AT&T
