Isn't the talia firmware specific to talia ?
What do you mean by "did not work" ? |

Thanks for this.
Judging from what they're correcting yet another ereader was released prematurely; par for the course. Naming no names. |

My Muse was delivered today, and it connected to wifi but the firmware download fails every time. So does Adobe, but that's not a priority.
Is the firmware available anywhere for download to PC; is anyone dedicated enough to make it available? Just asking. |

What wi-fi ? Are you sure your network isn't blocking something ?
Maybe ask bookeen. |

Are you sure the device is connecting to WLAN.
Bookeen devices have problems connecting with WLAN access points with special characters. It took me some hours to figure out, that mine had a space at the beginning and that was the reason why it couldn't connect to it. Special characters in the WLAN SSID (including space) are not working. BTW: I would appreciate a downloadable actual ROM too. |

Thanks for the input. This morning I got the firmware update by dogged determination, just retrying until I got a connection finally, and then connecting to my ISP's site first. Now it's refusing to connect again after the restart, whilst the PC connects wirelessly flawlessly. But it's done.
Think I'll leave the ticket open with Bookeen, since Adobe has yet to be done... and if nobody complains they'll think there's no problem. |

I was thinking of opening a ticket about the missing rom and manual in the download section. I the muse get bricked or something, can be useful for recovery as well. |

Cool, but I paid pixmania premium price in the hope of avoiding hassles.
