There is already a version of FBReader for Android, and Fictionwise will have an eReader reader app ready for Android sometime later this year.

Saw the FBReader port, but didn't know about the eReader port-plans. I may need to add eReader generation to calibre afterall.

But most of the article seems like over-enthusiastic nonsense. A handful of PD works packaged as stand-alone apps doesn't seem very exciting. And the claim that the screen is better for reading than e-ink had me wondering if it was satire.
