Combining books

I've been using and enjoying Calibre for some time now and I've added a lot of books to my ebook library. The other day I added a book I already had. Now Calibre tells me if I already have that book, but in this case, it was in a different format.

Once I had them both in Calibre, I went deleted one and then went into the metadata of the other and loaded a new format. I thought wouldn't it be great if we could just click on the two books and combine them together, so that the two formats could be under one entry.

If there is an easy way to do this already, please let me know. If not, this might be a nice feature to add.

Well, there is a plugin that detects duplicates. Not sure how it works, since I don't use it
