Tying in Another Database/Dictionary

Is there a way to associate a different dictionary when you look up words on your Kindle? How does one acquire it and install it? Also can you add a search medium to the kindle search? Like when it offers to look up on the web and wiki, can you for example, add a subject specific wiki? Like a home made wikia wiki?

The Kindle can only have one "primary" dictionary at a time, but this does not have to be the provided dictionary. However, the only other dictionaries known to work are DRM-free MOBI dictionaries.

Other devices running software very similar to that on the Kindle (e.g. iLiad and Cybook Gen3) support multiple DRMed MOBI dictionaries. So it is possible that a future upgrade to the Kindle's firmware will provide DRMed dictionary, and perhaps multiple dictionary, support. However, there has been no announcement of this and you would certainly have to buy the dictionaries from the Kindle store.

Not yet. I've seen a few people on the Amazon boards mention that there is a Spanish/English dictionary that works. I haven't checked recently but all the English language dictionaries are "not yet available". I don't understand why it's so complicated.
