Kindle for iOS 3.9 released

There are differences in definitions and presentation. They also have a completely separate corpora. I prefer Merriam Webster over Oxford, but only because I have been using Merriam dictionaries for most of the time. I am sure they're both good in their own way.

I'm sure you're right, Tad. It was the comment by the previous poster that Oxford had more complicated spellings that interested me. I would have thought that spelling would be consistent between dictionaries.

For books that don't meet that criteria, the royalty is 35% minus delivery costs (15 cents per megabyte, always rounded up).

Has anyone been able to sideload AZW3/MOBI files in the recent Kindle for iPad versions? For some reason I can't get it to work anymore.

These are the limitations I'm seeing:
- KF8 reflowable format is not enabled for side loaded or Personal Documents content
- KF8 fixed-layout does work when side loaded or from PDocs
- 'Open In..' functionality (open from DropBox/Google Drive etc) is broken on iPhone but works on iPad

What's with the new update? Whew! I was thinking about a decrease in lag and increase of smoothness.

Amazon just released version 3.9.2. It is a fix for iOS 7 issue that can cause you to have to re-register and re-download your books from Amazon. They highly recommend installing this update before you upgrade to iOS 7.
