Nope. Someone has to provide the debug device detection info for basic support and if it has a different database schema to the T1, someone will have to write a new driver for it.

Looking forward to T2 support as well. Just got one to replace my T1 and will be doing a lot of epub creating/editing over the next 6-8 months.

Here's a build with a T2 driver. Since the T1 and T2 have exactly the same usb ids, hopefully they have the same db structure as well. http://calibre-ebook.com/downloads/b...bre-0.8.65.msi

I was about to decide to take the damn thing back to the store tomorrow. The Sony software is just plain AWFUL to work with.

Calibre is the ONLY way to go!

I just installed this version and copied a few books to the T2... seems to work fine! Thanks so much!

I copied over 102 books. All of them kept their correct collections and order.

Was able to easily delete the library I had transferred using the Reader software.

All seems to be going just fine.

So, after noticing the T1 driver works fine with the T2 on OS X without any changes... I pulled down the latest calibre source so I could make a patch for the Windows folks today.

...and then I noticed the patch was already applied.

From that debug info, I don't think you have the beta installed. The link Kovid posted is not the same as what is publicly available. It should also show "0.8.65*" as the version instead of "0.8.65".
