Michael Serbinis sits down with the National Post in his first interview as president of Kobo.

What the NYT reported earlier:

Kobo plans to release more than one version of the e-reader, they will have wireless connectivity and they will be sold in Borders bookstores.

In an interview, Ron Marshall, chief executive of Borders Group, told me that the company wants to reach “readers who buy a couple of books a year and we hope to offer a product for that market.”

The $99 price point mentioned in the National Post seems a good target for the casual reader, but in the near term (which for Kobo is apparently all of 2010) it may be a something like the Ectaco Jetbook Lite with its LCD screen.
