REALLY bad formatting
Earlier today I bought a book and transferred it to my Kindle for PC app. Well, the formatting was atrocious! I mean bad, with mid-sentence line breaks galore, strange markings such as "1/4", etc.
It's a more-or-less self-published book, not from a major house. Has this happened to you, and if so, what did you do??? |

Contact Amazon and ask for a refund. I've never had to do that, but that's what I would do if I found a badly formatted eBook.

And don't forget to leave feedback about the formatting at the bottom of the book's page on Amazon.

What everyone above has said:
Request a refund & write a review - making sure to include the poor formatting. |

If it's a self-published book I'd also contact the author and express my displeasure at their poor formatting.

I haven't any problem with my Kindle. And I think they are right return it to where you bought it. Just make it sure it is covered by their time of warranty.

I second what Harry said about contacting the author/publisher, if possible. Most do care and would want to know that there is a problem so they can correct it.
