Converting .doc to epub . . .
Can somebody tell me if it's possible to convert a .doc formatted file to epub, keeping the images. I've downloaded a book unzipped it, but it's a .doc. It has some great images and I want to retain them. I normally use Calibre.
Any suggestions? |

In Word, save as RTF. Then Calibre can convert the RTF to epub.

If the RTF method doesn't work to your liking, try using the Microsoft Reader Add-in to turn the doc into .lit format. Then, use Calibre to convert the .lit file to an epub version.
Information on Microsoft Readers Add-in can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/reader/publishing/ |
