Sony to Kindle
My Sony e-reader never worked properly, so I have given up now and bought a UK Kindle. However, I have some books (purchased) on my laptop which I have never read. It's bad enough wasting all that money on the Sony, without wasting the books as well. Is it possible to move them onto a Kindle?

I'm sorry your PRS (model) reader doesn't work for you.
Unfortunately Kindle can't read Sony formats

BUT

download "calibre", import Sony eBook, convert to mobi, copy to Kindle, read book

I believe that Calibre can strip the DRM then convert the formats.

Hi, welcome to MR from the Netherlands. Calibre will not strip DRM all by itself. Go and look around on the Kindle-forum. You'll find some usefull threads.
