Ich hab gerade bei Aldi zugeschlagen! Jetzt brauch ich nur noch ein gutes Versteck. Diese Playstation kommt wirklich in einer Riesenpackung!

Ich hoffe, du hast 2 Controller dabei - sonst hast du nichts davon, hehe

Bei mir wird´s wahrscheinlich wieder kompliziert - wie jedes Jahr weiß ich nicht, was ich jemanden schenken soll noch was ich geschenkt haben will.
Die paar Dinge, die ich gerne hätte, kauf ich mir sowieso immer gleich (und noch viele weitere )

Was sicher kommt, das ist ein kleiner Home-Medienserver (NAS), den ich mir gemeinsam mit einem Arbeitskollegen kaufen / bauen will. Wir sind uns nur noch nicht einig, ob Fertiggerät oder Mini-ITX-System im Eigenbau (welches teurer, aber flexibler).
Aber das hat mit Weihnachten nichts zu tun

Leider NEIN.
Das Ding kann ja sonst nix. Kein DVD/ BR und natürlich keine Spiele.
Das könnte ich ja noch verschmerzen, dann aber der hohe Stromverbrauch auch bei Standby, kein 1080i. Wird super warm. Hier muss ein Hardware-Update her, dann denke ich noch mal darüber nach.

Ständig den Rechner laufen zu lassen, ist da natürlich die einfachste Möglichkeit (als Server funktioniert auch der Windows Media Player ganz gut), aber nicht zielführend. Ein MP3-Player mit 200W reicht

Und kommt mir erst gar nicht mit dem Apfel-Zeug. Dagegen bin ich allergisch, seit ich meinen ersten iPod gekauft habe. (Ja, ich habe 2 )

Der iPod selbst nicht, das ist ein geiles Gerät. Was mich allergisch macht, ist die zwingende Kopplung an iTunes, und das Programm hasse ich. Klar, mittlerweile kann man den iPod auch mit anderen Programmen (WinAmp, u.a.) laden, aber einige coole Funktionen bleiben dabei auf der Strecke - Coverflow vor allem. Und iTunes ist so dermassen unangebracht eifersüchtig, dass es den iPod formatiert (!), wenn jemand anderes dessen interne Datenbank berührt.
Anderes Beispiel: Mein iPod fungiert als Wecker an der Onkyo-Heimkinoanlage. Wecker funktioniert allerdings nur mit von iTunes erstellten Playlisten.dh, um mich am Morgen wecken zu lassen, muss ich eine Playliste am PC erstellen.

Sorry, dass das hier etwas länger ausfiel, aber ich kann nicht aufhören, mich über sowas aufzuregen.
