Look up author and title while reading

Hello,
I an using a Kindle keyboard and sometimes while reading a book I would like to check on the title and autor or even the series without connecting to the web.
How do I find these without leaving the book?

I think the best you can get is pressing the menu button to bring up the title of the book, doesn't give the author though.

Why not just look at the title page?
