Apparently they are saying they will be on the iPad and their App will be available soon after the launch.

Since they already have an iPhone app, it's not really a big surprise. I expect that Stanza, ereader, etc will also all be available on the iPad.

Being that these are big guys it will probably happen. Remember that Apple is notorious for removing apps that "duplicate functionality" from the store, we'll have to see...

Yeah, but we'll have to wait & see if the App is PDB-only, thus causing no potential for conflict with iBooks ePub. Same goes for Amazon's AZW.

Both formats may be perceived by Apple as additions, not as competitors.
