My plug-ins don't work any more
Since installing 0.8.5 my epub-busting plug-in does not work anymore. How do I get back to an older version of Calibre?

You could download an older version. You could also look into the plugin (if you're familiar with it) to see what the problem is.
Or you could contact the author (maybe there's a newer version?)
