Polish characters in Book Designer?

I have tried to edit some Polish books with Book Designer, however, the Polish characters went missing... It did that both with rtf and html.

It is somewhat surprising, as the help mentions making Russian books on the fly. Is it any different or am I doing something wrong?

You may need to adjust the language setting (the icon with the screwdriver on it brings up the proper menu). I'm afraid I don't know enough about Polish language characters to suggest an actual setting to try, but I expect you can figure out the most appropriate one on your own.

You might need to do it as HTML using html2lrf to convert. We had another thread someplace where someone wanted some language that BD didn't support properly but html2lrf did support using Time New Roman as the books font.

I missed that feature, somehow... The correct setting is "Polish", by the way
