New here
I'm English, but I live in the US. I'm a thriller and crime writer but I do have an odd past as a racecar driver, a pilot and an occasional PI. I'm new to the e-reader world and I'm uploading a number of my out of print novels and books.
You can learn a little more about me at http://www.simonwood.net and my Kindle page http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...r=Simon%20Wood and on Smashwords at http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/SimonWood Last edited by Simon Wood; 11-13-2009 at 12:17 AM. |

I have a habit of falling into situations. Some good. Some bad. But always interesting. Sadly, my PI works has never resulted in a Ferrari, but a stretch Mercedes once when I had to go undercover as a high roller in a Vegas casino. I wish I wasn't making these stories up. |

An employee where I work crashed, if I recall correctly, three planes -- all of which he built himself, and each, I believe, on their maiden voyage. I believe he finally gave up flying. I no longer see him very often, but if I run into him anytime soon, I'll try to get get the details.
Had my own somewhat harrowing experience involving a small plane and a friend's brother who had recently received his pilot's license. We didn't crash, but at the time I was fairly certain (I believe he was also) that we were going to. Maybe one day I'll share that story in the lounge. Hi, Simon and welcome to MR!
It's great to see that you offer your work in multiple formats. We love to support author/ members who participate in our forums. The signature line can be added once you have been a member for 1 week and make a few posts... I can't remember what the exact rule is.. Just try to make one after a week and see when it lets you. You can access it quickly by clicking on the blue bar above (to the right) and click on "Quick Links". The drop down menu will have "edit signature". You can also click on "User CP" blue bar up above on the left. This will give you the list of options. |
