It seems that it still has a glass backplane. Thinner glass (and so lighter) than on the 6" screens, but still glass.
Thinner might not mean more fragile - it might make the backplane more flexible and less liable to breaking through torsion/bending. |

I don't know. It's still hard to beat good ol' fashioned paper for working with architectural and structural drawings, especially if you're working with anything bigger than 18x24". I'd be curious to see how this unit pans out.

I like that it has capacitive touch! The only negative it seems, is the weight of 700 grams but if you dont use it as an ebook reader thats alright^^
My current 9.7 reader weighs about 500gram which is alright when holding it in portrait mode but landscape isnt great ^^ |
