Hot & humid .... with storms on the way tomorrow .... maybe ....
Tom - yes, I have one of those electric fly zappers - I'll upgrade the batteries and see if I can duplicate your fireworks. We don't have enough room for a horse in our yard - maybe I'll borrow the neighbor kid's rocking horse and ride it with my fly zapper! |

It's 58 degrees F. I'm actually a tiny bit chilly. Nice break from the 90's and high humidity we've been having.

Something is seriously wrong here! It's 2:30 in the afternoon and the temperature isn't even in the 80s yet! (You know it's been a tough summer when 79º F feels cool.)

It's too warm and too humid for me. Today it felt like you had to swim rather than walk. The promised thunder storms with lots of rain and even hail didn't materialize, only some drizzle and one rain shower in the morning, the rest of the rain frizzled out when it moved from the south of the Netherlands towards the north. I'm hoping the rain front moving up from the south will not frizzle out and will not miss us.

Late evening and still hot. Hot days are not too bad, if you know a cool breeze will come in later in the evening. So far, that cool breeze has not arrived.

Now why would you want to wear "water" wings when I have lots of these wonderful "rings" made of nice thick onion; all in a safe protective pot I have all set up just for you.
I hope your rain lets up soon. We are finally getting some cool down for late evening and early morning. Enough so that I have to wear a light jacket. |

After last week's heatwave followed by a couple of relatively cool days today it was over 30 celcius again, and humid. Tomorrow will be even worse, luckily I won't have to work. Saturday it should cool off again, hopefully.

No water restrictions were in place and it was raining last night (and still raining today) so hopefully the grass will turn from brown back to green. |
