where does K4PC store my ebooks?
thats the question, i dont have or WANT a kindle, but some books i do want can only be found on amazon . so, i need to de-drm and convert the things so i can read them on my prs 600...


but where are the bloody books?


linux ubuntu running wine.

They are stored in a folder "My Kindle Content" within "My Documents"

ahh, thank you, i had to dig through uncounted folders to notice it ;-)

ok, so the files seem to repeat themselves as both .prc and MBP, or as the case may be AZW and MBP. i presume for the purposes of de drming them i can disregard the MBP?

The MBP file stores bookmarks, your current reading position, annotations, etc. The book itself is the PRC file.
