I cannot get this to work, it still produces Book Title - Author

You can't change the file names in the calibre library. This template is meant for saving the files to an additional location on your disk. Is this what you're trying to do?

Ah, OK, I actually succeeded after help from a friend, you change the name in the step before "Template Editor".
You go Preferences-Saving books to Disk" then change the script in the "Saving Template Box".

Edit:
What I meant was, when you enter a file/book into the Calibre, it changes the file name, which is then exported to the Calibre folder or what ever hard disk you select.

The filename/directory structure of the calibre library is by design and will not be changed. You can fork calibre and do whatever you want but please don't waste time by asking that the filename/directory structure used in the calibre library be changed.

You can save to disk or send to device with whatever filename/directory structure you feel like building in the templates. Otherwise, don't peek under the skirts of the calibre library.
