Least Favorite - Christmas due to commercialism and the expectation that everyone is happy and cheerful.
Favorite - Thanksgiving - family and food (especially since my brother and wife now do the hosting ) |

Fourth of July can be nice (drunks aside), thanks to fireworks displays. The food at Thanksgiving is always good, and I have a strong appreciation for Easter and Christmas for religious reasons (don't throw things at me, mods! That is ALL I'm saying on the religion issue!). I do resent the commercialization and frenzy US "culture" has turned Christmas into, though. Last edited by Seanette; 10-29-2010 at 06:16 PM. We stay at home on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve, mainly because of the drunken and boozed up drivers. It's a jungle out there, I tell ya. Cheers. |

one. 1 week apart. and on your purely trivial and useless bit of information, my birthday, Christmas and New Year are on the same DAY of the week.
