Scanned or original electronic copy
Is there anyway to tell if the ebooks Amazon sell come from a scanner or from the original electronic copy typed by the author?

Publishers hire the Typyest LOL Those from Amazon are from Publishers. Tho IF you incounter a mistake & report to amazon they will let publisher know so it gets corrected.

But there is no way to tell how the book got created. A book file is a book file.

If the fonts cannot be altered, its probably a scanned copy. Very few are like that.
